Obituary for Bessie Mae Marshall

Bessie Mae Marshall, 79 of Wayland, KY, passed away September 26, 2017 at her residence. Born May 18, 1938 in Hilton, GA, she was the daughter of the late George & Mamie Lou Brooks Wacaser. Bessie is survived by her husband, Herman Marshall. She was a retired cashier for Triangle Market and Super America and a member of the Martin Freewill Baptist Church, Wayland, KY. Bessie is survived by her children: Chester Marshall of Buckhorn, KY, Ann (Stan) Saye of Lynn Haven, FL, Shelia Jan (Dennis) Handshoe of Wayland, KY, Herma Kay Martin of Garrett, KY and Susan Lynn Morgan of Oldham Co. KY; son in law: Stephen Kirkland of Wayland, KY; grandchildren: Mark Adams, Kyle Hoover, James Ousley, Carolyn Lawson, Shelia Handshoe & Tommy Crum; great grandchildren: Joseph Ousley, Lauren Ousley, Anthony Jones, Eric Morgan, Gavin Morgan, Kaili Messer, Alexander Lawson & Curtis Lee Short. She was preceded in death by one son: Randy Eugene Day; two daughters: Cathy June Day & Cathy Rena Marshall; son in law: Bennie Martin; brothers: Frank Wacaser, Harold Wacaser, Freddie Earl Wacaser & Edward Wacaser. Bessie will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Time and Place of Services: Friday (September 29, 2017) 10am Martin Br. Freewill Baptist Church, Estill, KY

Visitation: after 6pm Wednesday (September 27, 2017) and all day Thursday (September 28, 2017) at the church

Officiating: Dolvin Ratliff and Martin Br. Freewill Baptist Church

Burial: Marshall Noble Cemetery, Clayhole, KY
