Obituary for Fred Johnson

Fred Johnson, age 63 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He was born July 17, 1954 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Robie & Eukie Slone Johnson Sr. He was the husband of the late Carol Allen Johnson. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his Daughters: Kristy (Bart) Schaffer of Frankfort, Kentucky & Deanna Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; Grandchildren: Fred Hicks, Dixon Ledford, Peyton Ledford & Preston Schaffer; Brother: Robie Johnson Jr. and his wife Donna of Prestonsburg; sister: Linda C. Watkins of Salyersville; and three half-sisters: Edith Allen, Marie Hale and Mentha Johnson. Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his Brothers & Sisters: Ricky Johnson, Donald Johnson, John B. Johnson, Jewell Marsillett, Bobbie Jean Chaffins, Christine Watkins, Eliza Taylor, Eva Kay Johnson & Patricia Ann Jones; half-brother: Jobie Johnson; half-sister: Ethel Stapleton. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Time and Place of Services: Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 11am at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Visitation: Monday, November 13, 2017 at 6 pm at the funeral home and all day Tuesday with additional services Tuesday night at 7 pm

Officiating: Glen Slone

Burial: Fred Johnson Family Cemetery, (Ruff & Tuff), Prestonsburg, Kentucky
