Obituary for Roger Lee Gayheart

Roger Lee Gayheart, age 70 of Printer, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born August 30, 1947 in McDowell, Kentucky to the late Jack & Edna Gayheart. He was the husband of Kathy Meade Gayheart. He was a retired coal miner and an US Army Veteran. Along with his wife he is survived by his Sons: Jackie (Marie) Gayheart & Mason (Ashley) Gayheart both of Printer, Kentucky; Daughters: Jennifer (Ryan) Spriggs of Weeksbury, Kentucky, Kristy Spriggs of Martin, Kentucky, Natashia Gayheart of Printer, Kentucky & Linda Gayheart; Brothers: Billy Jo (Marie) Gayheart of McDowell, Kentucky, Jackie (Tammy) Gayheart of Drift, Kentucky, Nick Horn of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Randall Gayheart, Tony Gayheart & Randolph Gayheart; Sisters: Phyliss (James) McKinney of Harold, Kentucky, Theda Faye (Fred) Jones of Ohio, Sandra Samons of Ohio, Trisha Gayheart, Freda Sue Gayheart of Texas & Sharon Prince of Ohio; A Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren & a host of Nieces & Nephews. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Son: Roger Gayheart Jr.; Daughter: Sherry Gayheart; Brothers & Sisters: Ronald Gayheart, Donald Gayheart, Fayus Gayheart, Johnny Gayheart & Lois Dean. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Time and Place of Services: Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 1 pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Visitation: Friday, November 24, 2017 at 11 am at the funeral home

Burial: Greenbury Hall Cemetery, McDowell, Kentucky
