Obituary for Roosevelt Morrow

Roosevelt Morrow, age 83 of Galveston, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1933 in Wayne County, Kentucky to the late George Dodson & Jettie Opal Morrow. He was the husband of Rosa Hall Morrow for 60 years. They were married September 28, 1957. He was a disabled carpenter. Along with his wife he is survived by his Sons: Rocky Wayne (Jennifer) Morrow of Martin, Kentucky & Randy Layne (Liza) Morrow of Galveston, Kentucky; Daughter: June Alice Tackett of Galveston, Kentucky; Brothers: Benny Morrow, Forrest Morrow, Dewey Morrow & Lawrence “Buddy” Morrow; Sisters: Rosetta Branscum, Elsie Cromer, Hilda Hampton, Geneva Hinds & Jean Seeser; Grandchildren: Misty Morrow, Justin Morrow, Coby Morrow, Derrick Gayheart, Nicholas Tackett, Barry Morrow & Brandy Morrow; 7 Great Grandchildren; Like a Son: Anthony Tackett. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his Son-in-law: James Franklin Tackett; Grandson: James Tackett Jr.; Brothers & Sisters: Louid Morrow, Clifford Morrow, Stella Sexton & Evay Simpson. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Time and Place of Services: Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Little Rachel Old Regular Baptist Church, Galveston, Kentucky

Visitation: Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 6 pm at the church and all day Wednesday with additional services each night at 7 pm

Officiating: Old Regular Baptist Ministers

Burial: Greenbury Hall Cemetery, Branhams Creek, Galveston, Kentucky
