Evelyn Sweeney, age 73 of Church Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1945 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Bill Weise & Lillie Newsome Vanhoose. She was the wife of the late George Sweeney. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her Daughters: Connie Slone of Blue River, Kentucky, Debra Slone of Battle Creek, Michigan, Brenda Cummings of Rogersville, Tennessee & Mendy Carter of Church Hill, Tennessee; Sisters: Geraldine Vanderpool of Hippo, Kentucky, Christine Hewitt of Kingsport, Tennessee, Barbara Wolf of Hamilton, Ohio & Irene Elrod of Indiana; Grandchildren: Michael, Randy, Amanda, Stephanie, Timothy, Joshua, Matthew, Sabrina, Ashley, Sandra, Christopher, Cameron, Nicholas, Justin, Amber & Kassidy; A Host of Great Grandchildren & A Host of Nieces & Nephews. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her Brothers & Sisters: Bill Weiss, Willie Weiss, Taylor Weiss, Jamie Akers, Arkie Akers & Devonda Marsillett. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Time and Place of Services: Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1 pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Visitation: Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10am at the funeral home

Officiating: Howard Roark

Burial: Buckingham Cemetery, Bevinsville, Kentucky
